The Wolverine X2 850 R-Spec rolls on 27-inch GBC® Dirt Commander radial tires that not only improve ground clearance and traction but feature rugged 8-ply construction for exceptional durability.

The Wolverine X2 850 R-Spec features well-damped suspension at all four corners for improved chassis control and handling feel. High performance KYB® piggyback shocks built specifically for Yamaha are fully adjustable with spring preload, rebound, and high- and low-speed compression damping to allow tuning to suit a wide range of driver preferences and conditions.

To ensure gnarly terrain doesn’t stop you, full skid plates protect the entire underbody of the Wolverine X2 850 R-Spec, from the front differential to the rear gear case. Skid plates also include convenient service points to access fluid drain locations without removing the guards.

The Wolverine X2 850 R-Spec transmission uses its own cooling intake to maintain proper temperatures, an oversized belt to handle the torque of the large engine and Yamaha’s unique sprag clutch to maintain constant belt tension.
